My Lion’s Heart is a nonprofit corporation organized and operated exclusively for charitable purposes, specifically to provide everyday essentials to disadvantaged children and teens so they can feel confident in their daily life. If they feel good and look as good as they feel, this will give them the confidence to succeed in school and life.

My Lion’s Heart is a Philadelphia-based nonprofit born from a shared dream between two passionate friends, Lovisa and Suzette, who also share the zodiac sign of Leo—a symbol of strength, courage, and compassion. As women and minority founders, Lovisa, a proud mother and grandmother, and Suzette, a dedicated mother, created My Lion’s Heart to empower children and inspire them to shine, both in school and in life.
Our mission is simple but profound: To empower the youth with self-confidence by providing everyday essentials, giving them the confidence to succeed in school and life. We believe that when children feel good about themselves, they are set up for success—not just academically but emotionally and socially. This confidence becomes the foundation for a brighter future.
At My Lion's Heart, 100% of every donation goes directly to helping children. Whether it's providing new clothes, supplies, or other essentials, every contribution makes an immediate, tangible difference. For us, it’s about more than just giving—it’s about transforming lives one child at a time.
